Over a decade, we strive to become the flagship of geothermal energy in China.
1988: Mr. Yu Baoqing, the father of Mr. Yu Kuiming, the current president and general manger of Hongli Group, established Weifang Hongwei Boilers & Fans Factory in Weifang, China, which was mainly engaged in improvement of industrial boilers and manufacturing of boiler accessories.
1990: Mr. Yu Baoqing registered Weifang Hongwei Air-conditioning Equipment in Weifang, China, which mainly dealt with production of central conditioning system terminal fan-coil air conditioner and lithium bromide refrigeration products.
1992: Weifang Hongwei Air-conditioning Equipment Company and Hong Kong Huarui Group jointly ventured Weifang Fuhao Air-conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd. with Mr. Yu Kuiming acting as technology and sales manager.
1996: Mr. Yu Baoqing invested 500,000 yuan in establishing Weifang Hongli Chilling and Heating Equipment Co., Ltd. and Mr. Yu Kuiming acted as its president and general manager. This company mainly deals with the research and development, production and sales of oil-fired/gas-fired industrial boiler water heating units, water treatment equipment, and heat-exchange equipment with annual value of production of 4 million yuan.
1997: Hongli Company started to develop, produce and sell cold and hot water air conditioning units for air source thermal pumps. It achieved the annual output value of more than 8 million yuan. Fan-coil unit passed the assessment as provincial scientific and technological achievement; transverse current chilling tower was recommended as "hi-tech product" in the International Refrigeration Exposition 1997 by the Center of Development of Science and New Technology of Chinese Association of Refrigeration. Oil/gas-fired central conditioner water heating unit won the second prize for progress in science and technology of Weifang City. Hongli Chilling and Heating Equipment Co., Ltd. was assessed as Hi-tech Enterprise of Shandong Province by Shandong Department of Science and Technology.
1998: Hongli Company achieved annual output value of more than 16 million yuan. The air source heat pump water chilling and heating units received the national assessment on scientific and technological achievement with the conclusion of "filling up the provincial blank and reaching the domestically leading level", and won the first prize and the second prize for progress in science and technology by Weifang Bureau of Science and Technology and Shandong Department of Science and Technology respectively.
1999: Hongli air source heat pump air conditioning unit was assessed as National Key New Product (Class B certification) by five ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Science and Technology, and State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision. Hongli achieved annual output value of more than 20 million yuan.
2000: Shandong Hongli Air-conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd. was established, starting R&D of ground source heat pump air conditioning units. It compiled China's first Technical Standards for Ground Source Heat Pump Units, which was filed for use in Shandong Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision. In August, it took the lead in passing ISO9002 certification, ISO14001 certification; SM (FM) series modularized central air conditioning units were recommended as Trustworthy Refrigeration Equipment by Chinese Association of Refrigeration. It achieved annual output value of 26 million yuan. It acquired a land area of 50 mu (1 mu = 666.67 square meters) at No. 367, Weizhou Road, Weifang and established Shandong Hongli Air-conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd.
2001: Hongli ground source heat pump air conditioning unit passed the assessment for national progress in science and technology with the conclusion of "filling up the domestic blank and reaching the world leading level", and obtained the prizes for progress in science and technology at the provincial and municipal levels. Hongli achieved annual output value of more than 30 million yuan. China's first homemade ground source heat pump air conditioning unit with independent intellectual property came into the world.
2002: Hongli Air-conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd. was assessed as Science and Technology Intensive SME of Shandong Province by Shandong Department of Science and Technology. Hongli ground source heat pump air conditioning unit was assessed as National Key New Product (Class A certification) by five ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Science and Technology, and State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision and was awarded considerably by the Ministry of Science and Technology. It also won the honorary title of China's Famous Brand by China Brand Development Promotion Committee. Hongli achieved annual output value of 40 million yuan.
2003: Shandong Hongli Air Conditioning Company was assessed as Hi-tech Enterprise of Shandong Province, Excellent Nongovernmental S&T Enterprise of Shandong Province, and AAA Creditable Enterprise by Shandong Department of Science and Technology. SMR series ground temperature heat pump water chilling and heating units were listed in Country-level Torch Program by the Ministry of Science and Technology; Hongli Anywhere trademark was assessed as Famous Trademark of Shandong Province by Shandong Administration of Industry and Commerce; the patent of "modularized water chilling unit" won the Patent Innovation Prize of Shandong Province. Hongli achieved annual output value of 58 million yuan.
2004: Hongli Company was assessed as China's Nongovernmental Enterprise with Best Goodwill by China Association for Promotion of Non-Governmental Sci-Tech Enterprises. Hongli achieved annual output value of more than 70 million yuan. Hongli acquired a land area of 300 mu (1 mu= 666.67 square meters) in State Weifang High-tech Industry Development Zone and constructed its industry base of heat pumps.
2005: Hongli Company passed CRAA certification, was designated to produce ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, and terminal products, and obtained the national production license of refrigeration air conditioners; Hongli Heat Pump Research Center was approved to establish Shandong Provincial Engineering and Technological Research Center for Heat Pump Units by Shandong Department of Science and Technology, thus becoming Shandong's only special agency for research and development of heat pumps. The patent of “One Large Power Water Chilling Unit” won the Second Prize of Patent of Shandong Province. In December, Hongli Ground Source Heat Pump Water Chilling and Heating Unit was assessed as the Preferred Technology Brand of China Science and Technology Real Estate 2005 by China Science and Technology Real Estate Federation. Hongli achieved annual output value of more than 90 million yuan. Hongli was active in participating in the compilation of China's first book Technologies of Water Source and Ground Source Heat Pumps, which makes a comparatively detailed introduction with ground source heat pump technologies, and also participated in the complication of Specifications on Energy Saving Standards, Acceptance, and Construction of Public Buildings.
2006: Hongli Air-Conditioning Equipment Company was assessed as Key Hi-tech Enterprise of National Torch Program by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and topped the Eight Best Enterprises with Advantage in Independent Innovation in Use of Geothermal Energy by the Ministry of Construction. In January, ground source heat pump air conditioning unit was included in the list of Fifty Kinds of Significant Power-saving Technology Equipment of Shandong Province by Shandong Economic and Trade Commission, and Shandong Department of Science and Technology; in November, SMR series ground temperature heat pump air conditioning units were assessed as National Key New Products by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision; in December, these products were assessed as Famous Brand Products of Shandong Province by Shandong Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision. The heat pumps achieved annual output value of more than 90 million yuan and Hongli achieved total output value of 160 million yuan. Collection of National Standard Drawings of Heat Pump Hot-water Systems that was sponsored and edited by Hongli Company was promulgated throughout the country.
2007: Hongli ranked first in the list of China's Top Ten Influencing Enterprises for Building Energy Saving, 2007, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Construction. It was assessed as Enterprise of Good Standardizing Practice by Shandong Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision. Ground source heat pump air conditioning units, air source heat pump air conditioning units were listed in the Category of Regenerative Energy Application Technologies for Building Energy Saving by Scientific and Technical Means for the 11th Five-year Planning of the Ministry of Construction. Hongli Company has undertaken more than ten demonstration projects for shallow layer geothermal energy regenerative energy of the Ministry of Construction, and the Ministry of Finance, which have significantly pushed forward the application of geothermal energy technology and the development of this industry in China. Multiple source heat pump and high temperature water source heat pump air conditioning units passed the assessment for scientific and technological achievements with conclusion of "filling up the international blank and reaching the world leading level" and " "high energy efficiency ratio, innovative in technology and leading in technology at home" respectively. Hongli compiled works Technical Standards for Multiple Source Heat Pumps, Technical Standards for High Temperature Heat Pumps, and Technical Standards for Dual Operating Mode Solar Energy Heat Pumps have become China's only industry standards and recorded in Shandong Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision. In December, the dual operating model solar heat pump system was assessed by the Science and Technology Promotion Center of the Ministry of Construction with the conclusion of "reaching the domestically leading level and having extensive application value", thus making a new breakthrough on the application of solar energy heat pump technology in China. The heat pumps achieved output value of 180 million yuan and Hongli achieved total output value of more than 300 million yuan.
2008: Based on Hongli Group, we will invest 200 million yuan in building the state-level technical center on heat pump system engineering that is based on Shandong Provincial Engineering and Technological Research Center for Heat Pump Units in an effort to build China's topping heat pump technology R&D platform, introduce world leading equipment for technological transformation and rapidly achieve the annual heat pump unit capacity for output value of 500 million yuan.
